Rebecca Hunter, MBA
Rebecca Hunter is the Vice President of Strategy and Planning for MountainStar Healthcare, the Utah-based headquarters of HCA's Mountain Division. One of her areas of responsibility includes directing patient experiences improvements across ten acute care hospitals, a growing number of outpatient centers and employed physician practices. Rebecca brings to her current position 19 years of experience in customer service within healthcare and communication industries, with 16 years in management or leadership roles. Rebecca has significant expertise in customer and staff engagement, change management, operations, project management, planning and process design. On a more personal level, being on the "other side of the bed" as a patient and caregiver to loved ones has instilled a personal passion to make a difference in improving patient and caregiver relationships, as well as the overall healthcare experience.
Rebecca has earned an undergraduate degree in Business Management, as well as an MBA in business with a Graduate Certificate in Marketing from Westminster College.
Steve Shama, MD, MPH, FAAD
Steve Shama completed a 30-year career in medicine with Degrees from Temple Medical School, MD (1970) and the Harvard School of Public Health, MPH (1974). He now continues a 20-year career in professional public speaking on topics dear to his heart.....creating enduring and endearing communications. He is a storyteller who likes to tell the tales that bring us together as humankind to find the harmony in our daily lives.
Dan Ditto, Esq.
Dan Ditto currently serves as Senior Legal Counsel for Intermountain Healthcare. He has worked in a variety of positions including President and CEO of Hawaii Reserves, Inc., Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer for Kahuku Hospital, and on the Board of Directors at Lingotek, before his time at Intermountain Healthcare. Dan obtained his law degree from J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University.
